Seller Guide

Becoming a Seller

  • To sell on the marketplace, you must apply through the Seller Application process.
  • Applications require: display name, description of what you plan to sell, and agreement to the Terms of Service.
  • Applications are reviewed by platform administrators.
  • You'll receive an email notification when your application is approved or declined.
  • Approved sellers get access to product management tools.

Creating Products

  • Once approved, access the product management area from your Backstage dashboard.
  • Products can be one-time purchases or recurring subscriptions.
  • Set your price in BOOSTS tokens.
  • Provide a clear title, description, and category for your product.
  • You can add images and detailed content to your product listing.
  • Products are reviewed before being listed on the marketplace.

Pricing & Fees

  • You set your own prices in BOOSTS tokens.
  • The platform may charge a marketplace fee on transactions (see Terms of Service for current rates).
  • Payouts are processed in BOOSTS tokens to your embedded wallet.
  • All transactions are recorded on-chain for transparency.

Managing Subscribers

  • View your active subscribers from the Backstage dashboard.
  • Subscribers automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
  • You'll receive email notifications for new subscriptions and cancellations.
  • Provide consistent value to retain subscribers.

Handling Disputes

  • If a buyer files a dispute, you'll be notified via email.
  • Respond promptly with relevant information.
  • Provide evidence that the product was delivered as described.
  • A platform arbiter will review the dispute and make a decision.

Seller Responsibilities

  • Deliver products as described in your listing.
  • Respond to buyer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the quality of subscription content.
  • Comply with all platform Terms of Service.
  • Do not engage in misleading advertising or false claims.
